You and I By R.Krishnamurthy
How can I catch your attention
How can I match your imagination
You are like a deep ocean
I am like a shallow basin
How can I impress thee
How can I express me
I have neither the diction
Nor I am I good at fiction
How can I meet your eye
You are wheat, I am rye
Like a chandelier, you dazzle
Like a candle I fizzle
Like a cascade you roar
As you leap over a boulder
Like a rivulet I murmur
When there is a rock, I meander
So different our styles
As natural to poets
Aiming at mirth
Differing by width.
