A poem on snakes By R.Krishnamurthy
Have you ever seen a snake
Dancing to a piper’s music
Swaying it’s head from side to side
Noticed the pattern on its head
What do you know about snakes
Do you know that they live in holes
They are long bodied and soft bellied
There are many myths about them to be bellied
For example, snakes do not drink milk
They don’t remember their enemies
They don’t hunt their victims
They don’t curse as some people think
Snakes are mainly of two kinds
Poisonous and non poisonous
We should avoid killing snakes
They kill rats and save our crops.
