Clash of the Radicals- Poojitha’s entry
The one where Poojitha decides
Poojitha is thinking about what course to choose for graduation. She is a fairly brilliant student who now has the freedom to choose her course or college. She is more interested choosing the right course because college is just an ambience and it doesn’t make a difference to her.
She weighed her options, analyzed her own strengths and weaknesses, and finally decided she would go with graduation in Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
As she came out after getting ready, her father was sitting in the couch reading newspaper.
He is a tall man with witty sense of humor. With bright eyes and enthusiasm for life, he looks younger than his age by 10 years at any given time. Revenue officer by profession, he never accepted to be corrupted nor stopped someone from becoming one. He always told his daughter ‘You can take your decisions and stand by them but you shouldn’t enforce them on others.’
He subtly asked.
‘So what have you decided?’
‘Papa, I’m going with CSE’ she said in a tone of confirmation.
‘Where are you going? Have breakfast and go’
‘ I have to go and meet my friend papa. Time is up. We will eat outside today’
She met her friend Rupa on the way and both entered a canteen nearby.
There’s a guy sneaking at her with a violently thirsty look. As she is scrolling down the menu through her fingers, he is scrolling down her body parts with his looks. He finally said in a rough voice.
‘Tiffins are so good here. You can’t resist eating them away’ laying his hand over a companion beside him.
Poojitha understood his expression from his behaviour of last 3 minutes and moved past to the table to eat. She called the bearer and said something.
In a few minutes, bearers of the canteen took all the Tiffin’s available in the hotel and put in front of that guy. Then she said.
‘Those were the Tiffin’s which constitute the Tiffin’s you were mentioning. Eat them and sit idle. By evening you will get an idea how flesh is prepared by the body.’
Rupa was astonished by this act and also in amusement towards her friend. She asked
‘How could you do such things? I fear when someone comments like that but your reaction was way different.’
She answered ‘ I do it because I understand people’s minds.’ with a sense of pride she moved forward and Tips who also has a lot of observation power went past her.
Pujitha is a very strong woman. She is like steel in terms of her mental strength. But sometimes a dam constructed of solid steel will collapse because of huge amounts of water.
Here the water’s name is Aravind Reddy.
