How your Feudalist Friend changes because of a wolf lurking behind him
Have you realized your feudal friend has your rival by his side?
If you are thinking who stands by your side is your friend and who stands opposite to you is your enemy then you are struck down in an outdated point of view. There are many things your friend will indirectly kill you with and many things with which an enemy will bring direct power into your life.
Before dwelling deep into the matter, we have to define who is a friend and what is feudalism. Conventionally, a friend is a person who stays with you in your joy and sorrow, support you through odd times, and guide you when you are in a dilemma. Feudalism is a system where any innovation in thought or action is opposed and existing landlord culture has to be obeyed without questioning.
If you get a friend in such a society which contains a majority of feudal-minded people where you become a minority, you will feel you got a friend finally without realizing that you are falling into a wrong and degrading company. Your pseudo friend guards you against other feudals, in the beginning, pretending to be a modern thinker or at least your supporter. But later he changes colours for the effect of changing situations, and finally becomes your biggest rival, the representation of all the enemies in your enemies in life.
Why will he change…? Circumstances? Ego? or insecurity? what’s the reason? Any person cannot change overnight. He has the seeds of all above-mentioned characteristics in him but they were suppressed by his situations where he too needs a company. When that need is over, it’s when the clouds over his real character disappear and you get disillusioned about friendship.
Anybody can recognize an enemy who is in front of them, talking, and directly showing his rivalry. But behind every direct enemy, there is definitely a malicious, poisonous, and cold-blooded conspirator who prompts the person to take perverted decisions. With a heartful of vengeance and malevolence, he uses the front guy as a weapon for achieving his selfish goals. The main rival is always a puppet in his/her hand for the perpetrator catches the weakness of the main rival in a weak moment and the brainwashing works a long way creating huge destruction.
Either Duryodhana in Mahabharatha who is prompted by Sakuni, Kaikeyi provoked by Mandara, Othello brainwashed by Lago to kill his own wife, Caesar falling after Brutus kills him who is motivated by Cassius; every mythology and epic tells the human nature- There is always a main villain lurking in dark behind the puppet appearing in the front.
Your friend becomes your enemy when the malevolent enters his/her life. You have to be ready to lose anybody for your friend who accepts their entry into their life is not a person you should be with.
