She is like spring in her glory
Dressed in a green silk sari
She is like a rose in bloom
She is like a rainbow in charm

Her curls long and plaited
A forelock refusing to be pinned
A string of jasmines in her hair
Spreading fragrance about her

Drops of sweat like dew 
Adorning her graceful brow
As she stepped in a breeze blew
Everybody greeted her with a bow

I will not describe her beauty
I know she is not one and twenty
She is our new colleague in office
She introduced herself as our new boss.
