Tropics By R.Krishnamurthy
Tropics are over populated
Tropics are under developed
Seasons are not well distinct here
It’s summer most part of the year
Humidity and sweating are our lot
Rain or shower is quite pleasant
Winter is welcome with cheer
When we don’t thirst for water.
We have lost the forest cover
Because of the rampant deforestation
Now there’s a realization
Tree plantation is taken up with vigour
Tropics have their advantages
They are rich in natural resources
Trees grow here very quickly
Then it will rain abundantly.
The dry springs will revive soon
The rivers will flow serenely again
There will be lush green meadows
There will be peacocks in the lawns.
