A tryst with misery By R.Krishnamurthy
How can I overcome my misery
How I can tell you my sad story
There’s no one to listen to me
I can get solace from poetry
I am not a millionaire to be busy
But I don’t want to be lazy
I can’t make a sport as my career
I realize walking has no barrier
I don’t have the intellect for a book
Analyzing it is a herculean task
But I read a newspaper as a habit
Suddenly I realize I am very smart
Now there’s a change of scenario
My habits have turned me into a hero
At every corner there is someone to greet
Without my asking, somebody gives me a lift.
